Application requirements
Regional medical authorisation
Valid medical transport authorisation issued by the relevant Italian Region is required.
Vehicles compliant with DM 553/1987
Type A or B ambulances regularly certified, serviced and equipped with the items required by regulation.
Qualified staff
Rescuers with at least 120 hours of training, qualified nurses, BLSD updated annually.
Insurance coverage
Professional and vehicle liability insurance with adequate limits to fully protect the patient.
Documented sanitisation
Vehicle sanitisation procedures after every service, active register, compliance with ISS guidelines.
