Privacy Policy

Notice pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, and the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) for the parts applicable to consumers.

Recipients of this notice

This notice applies to the three categories of subjects defined in the Terms & Conditions, with the same scope and wording:

  • 1.1 Consumernatural person acting outside any business activity (art. 3 Consumer Code). Benefits from the mandatory protections, including ODR/ADR routes set out in § 9.2 of the Terms.
  • 1.2 Professional usernatural or legal person acting in the course of its business. Consumer-only protections do not apply; the competent court is the one set in § 9 of the Terms.
  • 1.3 Partnerindependent licensed transport operator. The Platform–Partner relationship is governed by a separate affiliation agreement and is not a B2C relationship.

A Data Protection Officer (DPO) has not been appointed as it is not mandatory under art. 37 GDPR. For any privacy-related request you can contact the data controller using the details above.

Types of data processed

  • Identification data (first name, last name, phone, email)
  • Service-related data (pickup location, destination, declared clinical needs)
  • Payment data (handled via secure PCI-DSS certified providers)
  • Browsing data (IP, browser, pages visited) via cookies

Purposes and legal basis

  • Performance of the requested service — basis: contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR)
  • Tax and administrative obligations — basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR)
  • Marketing communications and newsletter — basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR)
  • Anonymous site usage statistics — basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR)

Disclosure to third parties

Data is shared with the medical Partners assigned to perform the service, with payment, hosting and marketing providers, and with the authorities when required by law. No data is sold or transferred to third parties for unauthorised promotional purposes.

Retention period

Service-related data is kept for 10 years for tax purposes. Marketing data until consent is revoked. Browsing data for up to 26 months.

Data subject rights

In accordance with arts. 15-22 GDPR, the data subject has the right to:

  • Access (art. 15) — obtain confirmation and a copy of the personal data being processed.
  • Rectification (art. 16) — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (art. 17, "right to be forgotten") — request deletion when the conditions are met.
  • Restriction (art. 18) — limit the processing in the cases provided by law.
  • Data portability (art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object (art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (art. 7.3) — without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. For cookies, use the "Manage cookies" button in the footer.
  • Lodge a complaint (art. 77) — with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

To exercise these rights, write to info@ambulanzaclick.it. We will reply within the timeframes set by art. 12 GDPR (max 1 month, extendable to 3 in complex cases).

For non-privacy disputes, please refer to § 9 of our Terms & Conditions: consumers (§ 1.1) may use the EU ODR platform and the Italian ADR bodies listed in § 9.2; professional users (§ 1.2) shall use the PEC channel and the court indicated in § 9.

Transfers outside the EU

Any transfers outside the EU only occur to countries with an adequacy decision or based on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
